The Kiss: Auguste Rodin Paris Double Page Layout

I have another lunchtime scrapbook layout post. These photos were taken at the The Tuileries Garden in Paris. I was happy that I was able to get 7 photos on this layout: 

The page is titled "The Kiss" after Auguste Rodin's famous sculpture. 

The journaling stamp is from Close to My Heart: 

The angel wings and heart and other die cuts are from Fancy Pants Designs. The boy sent these to me in my package. 

The pretty flowers are from Making Memories and the font is from the Cricut Billionaire cartridge.

Paris Hot Chocolate and Art Double Page Layout

Here is a peek at the whole layout: 

Happy Friday! I made a layout last night using my new Teresa Collins "Everyday Moments" paper collection. How I love that woman. She has the most elegant designs...perfect for Paris <3. These photos were taken at the Musée de l'Orangerie. It was so amazing seeing Picasso, Renoir and Monet paintings up close that I had only previously viewed in books. Here is a close up of the first page: 

 Here is a close up of the second page. The stamp with the journaling block is from Close to My Heart. Aren't the paintings breathtaking? I'm so happy they photographed well. Now I can remember them forever. 

 This adorable hot chocolate cup is from the Cricut Winter Frolic cartridge. I added some white details using my gel pen. I used three pieces of twine for the bow. The hot cocoa card is from October Afternoon. 

 The yellow paper is from the Bazzil Basics Swiss Dots Collection. The velvet roses are from Making Memories. I wish I had more of those! They don't make them anymore and I was saving them for a special page. 

 Oh these flowers were so fun to make! Cosmo Cricket has little adhesive circles called "Gluebers" and you take ribbon (these are from My Mind's Eye, Stella Rose) and place it in a circular pattern. The instructions say that a kid can make them. It's true. No sewing. It seriously took less than a minute to put these together. I highly recommend adding Gluebers to your adhesive collection. I placed a brad in the center of the flowers. 

 I had to ask the boy how to say " Hot Chocolate and Art" in French. He helped me with the title. :)

 This Cricut Gypy Font has to be one of my favorites. You receive it when you buy a Gypsy. I use it so much.

Sweet and Sassy Girly Shopping Double Page Layout

It has been awhile since I've written a post. I actually have a lot of pages to post but haven't photographed them. I've also been traveling a ton. I'm trying to finish this during my lunch break. This girly layout was created using the Teresa Collins Posh Collection. I love my Paris shopping photos! Here's a peek at the whole layout:

J'adore Paris! Double Page Layout

Bonjour! I have a double page layout to share with you today! I have had these papers stashed away FOREVER from K&Company and I was so excited to FINALLY use them! I keep buying more paper and telling myself that someday I will use up all of stash...Hmm..yea...I really do have the best of intentions! 

I love these beautiful heart keys and gold photo corners. The vintage look is lovely: 

The Jolee's Eiffel tower is from the boy. ;)

I stamped J'adore Paris with typewriter font and distressed the edges with Tim Holtz ink:

Bo Bunny Gabrielle Double Page Layout

 Here is a colorful two-page layout of Humayun's Tomb in India. I love the coral and turquoise color combination. 

 Our guide told us that the coffins in the front belong to the architects who designed this tomb. They were killed so that the building's design could be kept a secret and not be replicated.

 I used an precision cutting knife and slit the designs of the paper to act as photo pockets. I did this in several places and really liked the effect.: 

As you can see here, I cut the edge of the butterfly so the photo could slide under the paper:

Bonjour Mademoiselle! Double Page Layout

I am really enjoying scrapping newer photos! I may stop playing catch up for awhile and focus only on scrapbooking new photos. I'm not really one to abandon projects, but my India album is really dragging out and it is from 2003! I am not sure that I'll ever catch up at that rate! I literally returned from Paris 2 weeks ago and I've already scrapbooked a 4 pages. That is very satisfying! Here's a look at the whole layout:

    

I took these photos from an outdoor market. I used these colorful papers from Cosmo Cricket to match the mandarin oranges. The orange slices are old stamps from Stampin' Up!

The font is from the Cricut Elegant Cakes cartridge. I love my new date stamp from the Dear Lizzy Neopolitan collection. And the journaling card is from the Project Life Clementine collection:

Riding Indian Elephants: Double Page Layout

I have another double page layout to share with you! These were taken at the Pink Palace and the Amber Fort in Jaipur, India. I've been hard at work on these India photos from 2003. I'm making a small dent in my pictures, but I still have a HUGE box! After I finish, then I'll start Thailand! I've also been itching to scrap some of my current photos, so I actually broke down and decided to put some of my Paris scrapbooking supplies to use. So you'll see a layout with more current pictures this weekend. Stay tuned. :) 

I can't even tell you how much I love this paper. Love. The colors are so vibrant and the elephants went perfectly with my theme! The paper is from the Creative Imaginations Marrakesh Collection- Bombay. I used the Fancy Frames Cricut Cartridge that Jinger Adams gave to me for this layout page: 

The font is from the Cricut Elegant Cakes Cartridge and the journaling shape is from the Storybook Cartridge: 

The gold elephant was cut from the Cricut Destinations Cartridge. I added the swirl shape from the Cricut Elegant Cakes Cartridge in my Gypsy and created a mirror image of it and welded the shapes together. This creates a shape so the elephant has an ear, but the whole swirl also looks like draping fabric: 

I added some rhinestone bling to the elephants here:
