Happy Monday! I was very productive with my scrapbooking projects this weekend! I made two double page layouts, a card and I started on a mini album that I'll share with you this week. I'm working on photos from a world tour that I made back in college. These pictures were taken in the foothills of the Himalayas in India. I used the October Afternoon for the Record line. I just love that paper! Here is a look at the full layout:
Here is a look at the first page:
I used a beautiful three dimensional butterfly from the Michael's Recollections Collection. I placed the wood tiles in a curvy shape to match the title of this layout, Long Winding Road:
I love that "Tell it like it is" sentiment from the October Afternoon paper kit. It was a difficult journey from Delhi to Nainital, India on a bumpy road so I thought the sentiment matched my journaling perfectly. The glass butterfly with rhinestone circle is from the Michael's Recollections collection. So beautiful!:
Here is a close up of page two. All of those monkeys were sitting on the side of the road. It was amazing! India is such a beautiful country.
I backed the stickers in white card stock and added pop dots so the page would have some dimension.:
Isn't that bird just gorgeous?
Love,
Sheenie
The detail in this double page layout is amazing. I especially like the glass butterfly. The theme blends nicely. Very few people have the opportunity to travel and learn first hand of what most see only in movies or read in books. What a blessing.
